DeVina DeLoach is a graduate from Florida State University. She graduated in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Apparel Design & Technology. She presently freelances as a fashion stylist and also designs as an independent designer under her own label, Kharizma (pronounced ‘charisma’). Her line is a women’s line that offers unique, one-of-a-kind, and limited edition clothing. It also offers an eclectic mix of everything fashionable. Her clothing is designed to capture the individual”… meaning that her clothes are designed for the individual, encompassing not only the body but also the mind and the attitude. When you walk down the street or into a room, her garments will definitely get you noticed.

DeVina’s inspirations for the line come from various places. Some inspirations come from my models, TV, and magazines, but most come from the fabric. When she sees a fabric, she wonders “What can I make with this?” Keeping the combination of fabric and flattery in mind, she envisions just how the fabric will drape over and compliment the figure at the same time. This is the most important step because the fabric has to feel pleasant against the skin and drape well in order to be comfortable. Comfort is a major concern for DeVina and she never sacrifices comfort for fashion.

DeVina’s design aesthetic comes from the heart. She truly loves fashion and it is evident in her designs. She designs for the woman like herself – fun-loving, adventurous, confident, and independent. Many of her designs showcase a lot of skin by way of high slits, cut-outs, or short lengths. So they are definitely not for the faint at heart or the self-conscience. Her clothes are classy with a touch of urban pizzazz.

She also designs custom clothing based on your specifications. So if you have an idea for any outfit, just want something to an outfit you’ve seen before or just want something “outside the box,” just give her some details, and she can create that special outfit just for you.
